Adelaide Hagstrom MOHALL – Adelaide Kathryn Hagstrom, 86, Mohall, died Sunday, November 28, 2010, at her home. She was born January 20, 1924, near Sherwood, to John and Kathryn (Grengs) Mayer. She was raised on a farm near Sherwood and graduated from Sherwood High School. Adelaide married Lawrence Hagstrom November 30, 1942, on the west coast. While he was serving in the armed forces, she returned to the Sherwood area. Following his discharge, they lived in Colorado for a few years prior to moving to Portland, OR. She provided care to patients as an LPN at various hospitals and nursing homes in that area. The Hagstroms returned to North Dakota in 1980 and lived their retirement years on a farm near Mohall. Adelaide was a member of St. James Catholic Church, Sherwood. Family: husband, Lawrence; daughter, Shirley Bughman, Tucson, AZ; granddaughter, Shelley Buurman, Seattle, WA; brother, John Mayer, Minot; and several nieces and nephews. Adelaide was preceded in death by her parents, sons, Lawrence John and Warren Michael Hagstrom; son-in-law, Paul Bughman; brothers, Henry, Donald and Jerome Mayer; and sister, Maxine Walker. Funeral: Monday, December 6, 2010, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Jerome Catholic Church, Mohall Rosary: Sunday, December 5, 2010, at 7:00 p.m., at the church Friends may sign the guestbook one hour prior to the rosary and funeral services.
