MOHALL
– Carroll H. Briggs, Jr., 67, of Mohall; died Saturday, March 8, 2008, at a
Mohall nursing home.
He was born April 27, 1940 in Galesburg, IL to Carroll H. Sr. and Rosalie (Streed) Briggs. He was raised in the Bay area of California and graduated from Castro Valley High School in Castro Valley, CA. He attended the University of Indiana.
He entered the U.S. Air Force in 1963. He was a Russian interpreter with the 3535th Air Base Group based in Guam. He was honorably discharged in 1967.
He worked for many years as a credit manger.
He moved to Mohall in 1998 and entered the Good Samaritan Society-Mohall this past summer.
Carroll enjoyed fishing, animals (especially dogs), building model ships and watching baseball and hockey.
Family: daughter, Melonie Briggs, Portland, OR; lifelong friend, Muriel Winter, San Lorenzo, CA; brothers, Milton and Richard.
Funeral: Wednesday, March 12, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. at the Good Samaritan Society, Mohall.
