Gene Bryans
April 19, 1932 – February 1, 2008

MOHALL – Gene D. Bryans, 75, of Carpio, died Friday, February 1, 2008, at a Stanley nursing home.

He was born April 19, 1932 north of Carpio in Plain Township of Renville County to Victor and Florence (Hansen) Bryans.  He was raised on the family farm and moved into Carpio in 1950.

After the death of his parents, his sister-in-law, Joyce Bryans, cared for him until he entered the Mountrail Bethel Home in Stanley in 2002.

Gene enjoyed spending time at the family farm riding on the combine.  He also enjoyed walking around Carpio and seeing people, and sharing candy with little children.  He especially enjoyed watching trucks unload grain at the elevator.

Family:  brother, Lynn (Ruth) Bryans, Carpio; sisters-in-law, Joyce Bryans, Carpio; and Virginia Lee Bryans, Donnybrook; and several nieces and nephews.

Gene was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Dwayne and Edward; and a niece, Sherrye Gustafson.

Family Service:  Tuesday, February 5, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. at Brose Funeral Home, Mohall.

Burial:  Sunset Memorial Gardens, rural Minot

Visitation:  Today (Monday) from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Brose Funeral Home, Mohall.  Friends may also sign the online guestbook at www.brosefuneralhome.com.
