H. Ronald Dahl, Sr.
May 20, 1918 – February 11, 2011

MOHALL, ND – H. Ronald “Jake” Dahl, Sr., 92, Mohall, died Friday, February 11, 2011, at a Mohall nursing home.

He was born May 20, 1918, in Fillmore County, rural Mabel, MN, to Henry R. and Ada (Paulson) Dahl.

He served honorably in the U.S. Army and was decorated with the Bronze Star for Bravery.  He was a member of the American Legion for 66 years and a lifetime VFW member.

Family:  wife of 72 years, Edna (Brenna) Dahl; daughter, Rochelle (Chet) Mottershead, Rocky Mount, NC; son, H. Ronald Dahl, Jr. (Susan), Mohall; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; sister, DeLone Carpenter, Bloomington, MN.

Ronald was preceded in death by his sisters, Doris Eiken and Alta Spande.

Celebration of Life service:  Wednesday, February 16, 2011, at 2:00 p.m., at the Good Samaritan Society, Mohall

Burial:  Choice Cemetery, Mabel, MN, at a later date.
