ANTLER - Bradley Kevin Aho, 60, Antler, died Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at a Bismarck hospital.
He was born April 23, 1961, in Mohall, to Melvin and Gloria (Feland) Aho. He attended school at the Antler School for his early years. The family moved to Mohall where he was raised and graduated from Mohall High School in 1979. He was actively involved with 4-H and FFA, where he received many awards. He attended college in Bottineau before graduating from NDSU with degrees in Agriculture Mechanics and Agriculture Education. He started farming in 1983.
Brad married Valerie Bina on August 3, 1984, in Veseleyville, ND. They farmed in Wheaton Township, Bottineau County, for many years. They also raised Simmental Cattle. They were the last dairy farm in Bottineau County; they had the dairy cows until 2007, but continued with the beef cows.
Brad was a member of Bethel Lutheran Brethren Church, rural Antler, where he served as chairman of the trustee board. He was very proud to serve on the North Central Electric Cooperative board of directors, a job he took very seriously. He traveled to Nashville and New Orleans as part of his service on the board. He served as president of the Bottineau County Farm Bureau, director with the Antler Fire Department, had many years of experience working with 4-H youth including crop judging and county fairs. He drove school bus for M-L-S School district for 13 years. He had a true love for teaching and guiding the younger generation.
