ANTLER – Charlotte M. Atwood, 84, Minot, formerly of Antler, died Friday, December 4, 2020, at a Garrison care center.
She was born September 14, 1936, to Erling and Myrtle (Kissner) Tennyson.  She graduated from Antler High School.
Charlotte married Jerry Atwood, of Tolley, in September of 1954.  They had three children and lived and farmed in the Antler area.  She also worked at the Antler Port-of-Entry for many years.  They moved to Minot in 2004.  Jerry died March 12, 2005.  In 2016, she moved to Somerset Assisted Living Center, Minot.  Charlotte's family would like to thank all the caregivers who cared for her at Somerset, Trinity Hospital and the Benedictine Living Center in Garrison.
Charlotte was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.  She will be missed by all who knew her.  She will be forever in our hearts.
Family: daughters, Neva (Bob) Kordonowy, Bismarck, Teresa Atwood (Randy), Stettler, Alberta, Canada; son, Brad (Latricia) Atwood, Antler; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; sister, Nina Koons, Minot; several nieces and nephews, and sisters- and brothers-in-law.
Charlotte was preceded in death by: her husband, Jerry Atwood; parents, Erling and Myrtle Tennyson; sister, Betty Larsen; and great-granddaughter, Tabitha.
Graveside: A private graveside service will be held at Bethel Lutheran Brethren Church Cemetery, rural Antler.  A link to a video of the graveside service will be placed on her online obituary after the service.  A celebration of her life will be scheduled at a later date when it is safe to do so.
