MOHALL - Cindy Mae Anderson, 58, Mohall, lost her battle with cancer on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at Trinity Hospital in Minot.
Cindy was born October 19, 1963, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Minot, to Aloysious and Jeanette (Morel) Frederick.  She attended North Hill Elementary School, Saint Leo's School, and Central Campus all in Minot.  She was confirmed in 1972.  Cindy left Minot after 10 th grade and moved in with her dad in Dickinson.  She spent time trucking with her dad before meeting her future husband.
Cindy met Jerry Anderson, Sr., in October of 1982.  The pair wed April 23, 1985, in Minot.  Together they raised four children, Jennifer, Michelle, Rebecca, and Jerry, Jr.  They made their home in Minot until moving to Mohall in 1998.  Although this union ended in divorce in 2010 Cindy always had love for Jerry.
Cindy was a hard worker and loved her cleaning jobs at MTI and the Mohall Post Office, and later she enjoyed a job at a local bakery.  In 2009, Cindy became a primary care giver for her son, providing him with in home care.  She continued to care for her son to the best of her ability through her cancer treatments.  Cindy always put her family first.
On July 24, 2005, Cindy became a grandma for the first time.  Cindy loved her new title and embraced each grandchild she was blessed with.  She treasured spending time with all her grandchildren and watching each one grow.  She loved giving them nicknames and, in the end, she had five granddaughters and four grandsons.
In June of 2021, Cindy was diagnosed with cervical cancer.  She fought a hard battle undergoing chemo and two different forms of radiation.  Through all the treatments and struggles she leaned on her friend, Billy Brown, and her sisters.  Cindy was determined to beat the cancer and live her best life.  In November of 2021, she got the 'all clear' from her wonderful team of doctors.  That joy was short lived as her life took a devastating turn on December 13, 2021.  Through her fight with cancer, she kept her faith and made sure to tell everyone in her life how much she loved them.
