MOHALL - Coleen Ann Kinzley, 87, Mohall, died Monday, November 8, 2021, at a Mohall nursing home.
Coleen Ann Wade was born April 2, 1934, in Mohall, to Glen and Gertrude (Kirby) Wade.  She was the oldest of their children.  She grew up on farms in the Mohall area.  She attended Mohall Public School and graduated from there in May of 1952. Growing up, she helped on the farm milking cows and doing chores.
After graduation, she married the love of her life, Richard Kinzley.  They moved to Camp Atterbury, IN, until Richard was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army.  They lived on a farm south of Mohall for a short time, and then lived with Richard's folks until they bought a house in 1953 and moved to the current location where they currently lived.
They had three kids together, Doug, David, and Gail.  All were born in a short time frame, so they kept them hopping!
Coleen worked several local jobs including Lee's SuperValu, Bingham's Hardware, Red Owl, and Coast to Coast before going to work for the Mohall North Central Good Samaritan Society nursing home.  She worked there for 13 years before retiring as dietary manager. She also was a big help on the farm helping wherever she could. Dick remembers her combining for a couple of years when they needed help and she still managed to feed all of them well.
Coleen was active in the Order of Eastern Star.  She was initiated into The Mohall Naomi Chapter of Eastern Star on December 9, 1953, and then became a member of the Venus Chapter in Minot in 2014, when the Naomi merged with Venus.  She was a member until she died.  She held several offices over the years at both the state and local level, in both the Naomi and Venus chapters.
She was also a member of the Mohall United Methodist Church.  She was active not only in the church, but in the United Methodist Women, and was the Youth Group Advisor for 13 years for the United Methodist Youth Group.  After the UMC Mohall closed, she joined Zion Lutheran Church, Mohall.
