She was born October 2, 1987, in Tucson, AZ, the daughter of Donnie Gillstrap and Lynell Peterson.  She was raised and educated in Arizona.
In 2002, Danielle met Richard Joseph Black, Sr.  Together, they had Richard Joseph Black, Jr., (AKA:  "Littleman" or "Fatso"), the love of her life.  They made a home, but separated shortly afterward.  In 2006, Danielle met Joseph Edward Arriola.  They were united in marriage on March 2, 2007.  Although they divorced in December of 2018, they maintained their love for Richard, for he will always be her "baby boy."
Danielle was bright, beautiful and unique.  She loved retail management.  She worked for Walmart, O'Reilly Auto Parts and AutoZone.
Although due to her grandmother's recent illness and being more involved in her care, she developed a desire to care for the elderly.  She was currently working at Edgewood Vista and was enrolled to start CNA classes in December.
Danielle loved gardening, cooking, arts and crafts, and most of all, her dogs, Dobbie Do and Poseidon.
Family: son, Richard Joseph Black, Jr.; parents, Donnie Gillstrap and Lynell Peterson, Deering; brother, Joshua (Ashley Dahly) Gillstrap, Surrey; sister, Rachielle Gillstrap, Fort Collins, CO; nephews, Elijah, Jaxzyn, Cartyr and Ryker; niece, Kova; paternal grandfather, Roy Gillstrap, Mohall; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Danielle was preceded in death by: her grandparents, August and Judy Peterson, and Wilma Gillstrap; cousins, Alan Hall and Stevie Lesmann; and her beloved dog, Louie.
Funeral: 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 9, 2021, at Zion Lutheran Church, Mohall.  A link to a video of the service will be posted to her online obituary after the service.
Burial: Lansford Cemetery, Lansford.
Sharing of memories service: 7:00 p.m., Monday, November 8, 2021, at Zion Lutheran Church, Mohall.
