Dolores A. (Hanson) Booth, 93, of Sawyer, passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at home.
Dolores was born on May 13, 1930, in Havre, MT.  From there she attended schools in Washington and North Dakota.  In 1948, she graduated from R.A. Long High in Longview, WA.
On September 25, 1949, Dolores was united in marriage to Robert Booth from Sawyer.  They were blessed with three children, Susan, Debra and John.  They were married 62 years until the passing of Robert in 2010.
Dolores loved being on the farm after being raised in the cities.  Dolores drove school bus for Sawyer and she worked at the Sawyer Post Office for many years.  Dolores loved baking.  The Sawyer seniors always enjoyed it when she brought "their medicine," homemade chocolate brownies with creamy fudge frosting.  Dolores was also an excellent 4-H leader of the Lucky Lassies Club.  For many years was treasurer for the Sawyer Cemetery Club.  Dolores in her later years enjoyed feeding the birds, squirrels and deer, and naps with her beloved cat, Miss Kitty, and a friendly daily 6:30 p.m. game of Scrabble.

Family:  Dolores loved being a mother to Susan (Jeff) Hill, Debra (Lawson) (Bruce) Sanderson, John (Jan) Booth; a loving grandma to Jeffery (Katie) and Marshall (Erika) Hill, and Delena (Trevor) Williams; Robert Lawson and Thomas (Sina) Lawson, Lea (Chad) Atterton; and step grandchildren Charlie (Amy) Sanderson and Katie (Ian) Schmidt; Joey, Sandy, Kristi, Tim and Ben Krein; Dolores continued to share the love with her great-grandkids MacKenzie and Peyton Hill; Braxton, Dieter, Arianna Hill; Christina, Maxwell Williams; Alisha (Jesse) Capener, Danielle (Curtis) Butts, Christopher (Zoya), Bradley, Emma, Robert, Leah and Thomas Lawson; Hayle and Camryn Guy; Matilda, Fenja, Stella and Henry Lawson; and step great-grandkids Maddy, Finley Sanderson; Soren, Raliegh and Athena Schmidt.  Dolores even got the opportunity to meet most of her great-great-grandkids Everly, Kallen and Lucy Capener; McKenna, Addison and Willow Butts.
Dolores was preceded in death by: her husband, Robert Booth in 2010; her parents, Susie and (Clarence Hanson) Leroy P. Sorenson; parents-in-law, Vance and Alma Booth; and her grandson, MSG Robert Lawson in 2020.
Funeral:  11:00 a.m., Friday, February 9, 2024, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (South location), Minot.
Burial:  Velva Cemetery, Velva.
