Duane Fisher

June 22, 1930 - November 26, 2020

Duane Fisher's family laid Duane to rest at Eden Valley Cemetery on June 12, 2021.  Duane passed on November 26, 2020 after a long battle with COPD, and finally a Covid diagnosis took him to heaven.
Duane will always be remembered for his welcoming smile, his strong intellect and his inventive mind.  He valued honesty as the most important characteristic in life.  His family met for a Celebration of Life at Mouse River Park where Duane had met the love of his life, Bonnie Lee Daeley, of Sherwood.  They married on May 4, 1950.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Ora Fisher; his wife, Bonnie; children, Andrew and Paula; brothers, Richard Fisher and Kenneth Fisher; and sister, Joan O'Connor.
He is survived by his children, Douglas Fisher and Ronna McCleod; sisters, Virginia (Sally) Johnson and Helen Anderson; brothers, Bruce Fisher and Jerry Fisher.  Duane was blessed to have eight grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
