ANTLER – Gary David "Frenchy" Ledoux, 72, rural Antler, died Wednesday, April 21, 2021, at his home.
He was born April 25, 1948, in Westhope, to Albert and Irene (Engstrom) Ledoux. He was raised in Antler and graduated from Antler High School in 1966. He moved out west for a while and returned to farm and ranch with his father. Gary farmed for many years in Antler Township, Bottineau County. He also raised Black Gelbvieh cows. Gary married Deborah Bartuska on August 5, 1977.
Gary was a member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church, Westhope, previously served as secretary of the Antler Township board and was a proud member of the Antler Outlaws.
Family:
wife, Deborah Ledoux, Antler; son, Mitchell (Michelle) Ledoux, Minot; grandsons, Wyatt, Conner, Gattlin and Gannon Ledoux; brother, Leonard Ledoux, Covington, WA; sister, Barbara (Ronald) Tofteland, Puyallup, WA; sister-in-law, Bekki Ledoux, of TX; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Gary was preceded in death by:
his parents; brother, Arthur Ledoux; sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Russell Pettys; and sister-in-law, Ruth Ledoux.
Funeral:
A private family funeral will be held Tuesday, April 27, 2021.
Graveside Service:
A public graveside service will be held at 12:45 p.m., Tuesday, April 27, 2021, at the Antler Cemetery, Antler. After the graveside service, friends are invited to the Antler Outlaw Creek.
Visitation:
Friends may sign the guestbook from noon to 6:00 p.m., Monday, April 26, 2021, at Brose Funeral Home, Mohall. Friends may also sign the online guestbook at brosefuneralhome.com. A link to a video of the service will be placed on the online obituary after the service.
