MOHALL - Joyce Norene Lunde, 83, Mohall, died Thursday, December 3, 2020, at a Velva care center.
She was born December 25, 1936, in Minot, to Harmon and Hazel (Rapp) Vehslage.  She was raised on a farm northwest of Mohall and attended grade school and junior high at Grover Township School.  Joyce was very active in 4-H during her teenage years.
She boarded in Mohall with the Herman "Happy" Steinberg family and graduated from Mohall High School in 1954.  She attended NDSU for one year, then moved back to Mohall and worked as a bookkeeper for Farmers Union Oil.
Joyce married Roger Lunde on December 15, 1957.  She continued to work at Farmers Union Oil and was the manager of the Mohall Credit Union until 1977.  Gate City Bank hired Joyce to be the first branch manager at their new Mohall location.  She retired in the spring of 2002 after 25 years with Gate City Bank.  Roger died October 6, 2013.  She moved to Somerset Court, Minot, in 2019.
Joyce was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Mohall, Mohall Chamber of Commerce, Renville County Museum board, Eastern Star, a sewing club and bridge clubs, and the American Legion Auxiliary where she served as the chairperson for the Wreaths Across America.  She was active in the Mohall Mrs. Jaycees, chair of the Mohall Craft Fair for many years, and was active in the Yellow Jacket Booster Club and a Band Booster while her children were in school.
Joyce enjoyed embroidering, knitting, attending auction sales with Roger, following the Mohall Yellow Jackets, University of Mary Marauders Womens' basketball team, Rugby Panthers Girls' basketball teams and all of her grandchildren's activities including basketball, track, soccer softball, music concerts and dance recitals.
Family: daughters, Michelle (Wade) Billadeau, Raub, Mona (Brad) Dendinger, Hillsboro, OR, Jennifer (Dan) Brossart, Rugby; grandchildren, Jarred Billadeau, Layne (Codi) Billadeau, ShayLee Billadeau, Meghan, Maria and Olivia Dendinger, Jackson and Sawyer Brossart; great-grandchildren, Quinci and Josie Johannson Billadeau; special friend, Richard Johnson, Kenmare; and cousin, Donn (Marilyn) Luebke, Minot.
Joyce was preceded in death by: her parents, Harmon and Hazel Vehslage; husband, Roger Lunde.
Funeral: 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 12, 2020, at Zion Lutheran Church, Mohall.  Masks are required for the service.  A link to a video of the service will be placed on her online obituary after the service.
Burial: Mohall Community Cemetery, Mohall.
