MOHALL – Marjorie K. Sundahl, 94, Mohall, died Friday, November 26, 2021, at a Mohall nursing home.
Marjorie was born August 3, 1927, in Glendive, MT, to Newell and Alice (Knutson) Johnson.  She was raised in Montana and Williston prior to moving to the family farm in Stafford Township, Renville County, along the Mouse River.
She attended a country school through the eighth grade and graduated from Kenmare High School in 1946.  She lived In California for one year, then moved back and taught at a country school for one year.
Marjorie married Harvey Sundahl on October 24, 1948, at Evanger Lutheran Church, rural Norma.  They lived on the Sundahl homestead until 1953, when they moved to their own farm in Hamlet Township, Renville County.  Harvey and Margie celebrated 65 years of marriage before Harvey passed away in December 2013.
Marjorie was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Mohall, the ladies aide, and the Hamlet Homemakers.  She loved living in North Dakota and took pride in being a farmer's wife.  Margie was a fantastic short order cook and could whip up a complete hot meal in 10 minutes; she was known for her fried chicken and homemade buns.  Mom liked to read, play games and put together puzzles.  Margie enjoyed basketball and rooted for the Lakers.  If a game was on, the kitchen was closed!  Margie had a strong love for her faith, family, politics and her farm.
