Mark Harold Mehus, 55, rural Sherwood, died Saturday, July 3, 2021, at his home.
He was born May 11, 1966, in Minot, to Richard and Betty (Grenvik) Mehus.  He was raised in Sherwood and graduated from Sherwood High School in 1984.  He was active in basketball and football during his high school years.  He attended college in Bottineau and played basketball for the Lumberjacks.
He worked as rough neck and tool pusher in the oil fields of North Dakota.
Family: father, Richard Mehus, Sherwood; mother, Betty Akers, Minot; brothers, Michael (Tammy) Mehus, Porterville, CA, Max Mehus, Minot, and Kelly Mehus, Sherwood; sister, Vicki Larson, Minot; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mark was preceded in death by: his grandparents, and an uncle.
