ANTLER - Nina Lou Koons, 81, of Antler, died Monday, February 26, 2024, at a Minot care facility.
She was born February 25, 1943, in Minot, to Erling and Myrt (Kissner) Tennyson.  She was raised and attended school in Antler.
Nina married Sherman "Sonny" Koons on October 18, 1958, at the Renville County Court House.  They lived in Westhope, later in Montana, then returned to Antler.  Nina sold Avon for 10 years and also worked at United Pantry in Minot.  She loved her role as a farmer's wife.  Sonny died December 19, 2006.
Nina was a member of the Bethel Lutheran Brethren Church, rural Antler.

Nina was preceded in death by:  her parents; husband; daughter-in-law, Wendy Koons; son-in-law, Dick Carnduff; sisters, Bette Larson and Charlotte Atwood.
Funeral: 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Bethel Lutheran Brethren Church, rural Antler.
Burial: Bethel Lutheran Brethren Church Cemetery, rural Antler.
Family Service: 11:00 a.m., Saturday at the church.
