MOHALL - Sally Lee Witteman, 87, Minot, formerly of Mohall, died Thursday, October 13, 2022, at a Minot hospital with her loving family by her side.
She was born November 7, 1934, in Loraine, to Sondre and Greta (Bengston) Bohm.  She and her family moved to Culver City, CA, when she was three-years-old.  She attended school and graduated from Venice High School in 1955.  During her high school years, she worked for the Culver City Chamber of Commerce.
For a brief time, she lived in Washington, DC, and held a secretarial job working for the FBI.  Farrell "Mic" Witteman, of Mohall, who spent time in California, convinced Sally to return to California so they could get married.
Sally and Mic were married January 11, 1956, at her parents' home.  They made their home on a farm east of Mohall where they farmed with his family.  They raised three daughters and were married 49 years, prior to Mic's death on September 24, 2004.
Sally was an active homemaker with a large garden along with beautiful flowers, and was known for her gladiolas.  She entered many area floral contests and won many awards and floral vases.  She was a great seamstress.  She enjoyed painting classes and had an appreciation for art in general.  Sally and Mic enjoyed traveling the country in their van.  They collected interesting antiques and western art.
They enjoyed many summers at their log cabin lake home on Lake Metigoshe.  In 2011, she started spending her winters at her Queen's Bay condo overlooking The London Bridge in Lake Havasu City, AZ.  She enjoyed special time with her family, and social time, including line dancing, with her many new friends.  Sally moved to Somerset Court, Minot, in September 2021.  She loved spending time with her family, daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Sally was a member of the United Methodist Church, Mohall, a lifetime member of the Mohall Study Club, Order of Eastern Star, a bridge club, and a board member of the RBM Hospital Foundation and the Lake Metigoshe Improvement Association.
