LANSFORD – Sandra Jeanette Anderson, 56, Lansford, died Monday, September 1, 2025, at her home.
She was born in Minot on May 11, 1969, the youngest of eight children, to Bud and Thelma (Dean) Anderson.  She was raised in Lansford and graduated from Lansford High School in 1987.  In 1987, she and five other girls were flown to be on the Johnny Carson show.  Sandra attended NDSU taking classes on childhood development.
Sandra held many jobs over the years including working at Sears, Peggy's Gift Shop and Lowe's Garden Center.  She worked for Midwest Telemark International (MTI) in Mohall for many years.  Sandra and her sister-in-law, Michele Dean, owned and operated Simply Petals floral shop in Mohall.  She worked for the Flower House Garden Center prior to opening her home daycare, Little Owls Daycare.
Sandra was a charter member and president of the Lansford Jaycees, formed in 2007; and was president of the Lansford Community Betterment Enterprise, and served on the committees for the Lansford All School Reunion and the 2025 Lansford Cubs Country Days.
Sandra's hobbies included tending to her farm animals, gardening, baking, canning, fishing, listening to music, a fan of stock car racing, New York Mets fan, Carolina Panthers and the Michigan Wolverines.
Family: son, Devon (Ashly) Anderson, Williston; grandchildren, Sophie, Levi and Jovi; special friend, Tim Dignan, and his kids, Cody (Heather) Dignan, Riese (Fiancée, Denice Helmers) Dignan, and his grandchildren, Vivian, Gloria, Brickston and Gage; siblings, Dennis Dean, Minot, Diane (Chuck) Olson, Hutchinson, MN, Deborah (Larry) Johansen, Bonita Springs, FL, Marla (Mike) Rose, Minot, Patrick (Scarlett) Dean, Glenburn, Brian (Stephanie) Dean, Velva, and Jeff (Michele) Dean, Lansford; special sister, Thea Monson, Harvey; nieces and nephews, Brendan (Claudia) Dean, Donavan Dean, Bethany (Jeremy) Carter, Matthew (McKenzie) Olson, Melissa (Damian) Young, Tressa (Brian) Dahl, Ryan (Angie) Johansen, Karla (Shawn) Hanson, Matt (Jenny) Rose, Karissa Dean, Latasha Dean, Nathan Dean, Adam (Julia) Dean, Aaron Dean, Bradley Dean, Colin Dean and Logan Dean; and numerous cousins.
Sandra was preceded in death by: Her parents, Bud and Thelma Anderson; and sister-in-law, Linda Dean.
Funeral: 1:00 p.m., Friday, September 5, 2025, at St. John Catholic Church, Lansford.
Burial: Lansford Cemetery.
Vigil Service and Rosary: 7:00 p.m., Thursday, September 4, 2025, at the church.
