Obituary

Theodore Franklin Foss,78, Antler, died Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at a Minot hospital.
He was born October 1, 1944, in Minot, to Percy and Lucretia (Fisher) Foss.  He was raised in Mohall and graduated from Mohall Public School in 1962.  He attended NDSU "GO BISON" and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Ag Economics.  While in college he married Gloria Wright.
After graduating, they moved to Williston where he was the Assistant County Agent.  Once he obtained a few years of experience, they moved to Amidon where he became the County Agent of Slope County.  They moved back to their hometown of Mohall where he was a loan officer at Citizen State Bank.
In the early 1980s, he left the bank and started Viking Rentals with his best bud, Sweet Pea, aka Lee Lunde.  Once the oil business started dying down, he went back to his passion for agriculture and went to work as a Crop Adjuster where he worked for multiple Insurance Companies over the years.  He retired in 2020.
Ted was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.  He was involved in numerous organizations over the years.
Family:  daughters, Kim (David) Thacker, Haslet TX, Kristin (Steve) Simon, Hampden; sons, Robert (Bridgit) Foss, Houston, TX, and Michael Foss, Casselton; grandchildren, Chantal (Dan) McPike, Dr. Keagan Foss, Marquelle Foss, Berrhett Foss, Madison Foss, and Karsen and Parker Simon; one great-grandson, Elliot McPike; aunt, Marie Benning; and numerous cousins.
Ted was preceded in death by:  his parents, Percy and Lucretia Foss; sister, Lucretia "Candy" Achziger; and brother-in-law; Curtis Achziger; uncles, aunts and his grandparents.
Visitation:  Saturday, June 17, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., at the Mohall Community Center, Mohall.  Friends may also sign the online guestbook at brosefuneralhome.com.
It was Ted's wishes to not have a formal funeral, so in true Ted Foss style, we will be having an informal Celebration of Life to follow at the Percy Foss Farm, rural Antler, for a final farewell.
