MOHALL – Wayde Phoenix Cruz Mohagen, 8-month-old son of Michael and Katryn (Cruz) Mohagen, of Las Vegas, NV, died Wednesday, April 28, 2021, at a Salt Lake City, UT, hospital.
He was born August 12, 2020, at St. Rose Dominican Hospital, San Martin Campus, in Las Vegas, NV.
Wayde was born with a rare genetic disorder.  He was a fighter who overcame many obstacles.  He won the hearts of his family and the doctors and nurses who cared for him.  We will miss him dearly.  In Wayde's short life, he affected people all across the globe from Guatemala to the Philippines.
Family: parents, Michael and Katryn Mohagen; brothers, Hunter (5) and Maverick (3); maternal grandparents, Efren and Rosalie Cruz; paternal grandparents, Don and Carol Mohagen; great-grandmother, Arvilla Melin; aunt, Karlstyn (Rupert) Domingo; uncles, Kairuz Cruz and Karlo (Flexy) Cruz; aunt, Abby (Chris) Mitchel; cousins, Baylie, Kylie and Ellie Mitchell, and Elise Cruz; uncle, Erik Mendez, aunts, Brenda Gutierrez; Kylie (Tony) Wood, Toni (Julio) Hernandez, and Alma Mendez.
Funeral: 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 6, 2021, at Zion Lutheran Church, Mohall.
Burial: Mohall Community Cemetery, Mohall.
